N95 masks are specialized filters which remove small, medium, and large particulates from the air.

N95s are recommended as a layer of protection against wildfire smoke.
N95s are available at the Olds Mask Bloc station.
Masks with even more protection against wildfire smoke are labelled P100.
CBC News reports that distance does not make wildfire smoke safer, it becomes more toxic as it drifts from the source.
